Do away with conference championship games and just have extra layers of playoff games maybe in a couple years.

Everybody wants it except the SEC.

The SEC is saying we'll go as high as 16, but we're not going to go to 24.

You know, the other one that has to say yes, ESPN.

Right.

And right now they're saying no.

ESPN says no because they don't get the additional playoff games.

They get the games that are – if it goes to 16, they get all those playoff games.

Anything above 16, Fox can bid for, NBC, others can bid for.

So they're not – ESPN, not happy about possible –

That's a good question.

Maybe.

Maybe.

The key money figure is can they make enough money with an extra couple of layers of playoffs to offset what they're going to lose in doing away with conference championship games?

Because everybody believes if you expand the playoff, you've got to get rid of conference championship games.

Well, I think one of the things, I think this is legit.

That's right.

The other concern is too many 8-4 teams being alive for a playoff in November.
