Chapter 1: Who is Blair Kerkhoff and what does he discuss?
Yes, yes. Is this on? Is this on? Let's make sure. Is the tower on? What about the stream? Have we checked everything? Everything's up and running? It is the program here on Sports Radio 810 WHB. Petro Siebel, Collier. And, of course, we bid adieu to Todd Lebo and our good buddy, Peter Yatsenik. Todd Lebo, not our good buddy. Don't like it when Todd wins. Is this mic? Working.
We say goodbye to them. We say hello to Curtis's brand of humor. We choose to find it charming, is what we do. And we say hello to Blair Kirkoff.
Why, hello.
How are you, Blair? Doing great. Hope you guys are, too. Blair is brought to you by our friends at Art and Frame Warehouse, which, by the way, Curtis told me a story. You were doing one of your business journals award. Champions of Business. Champions of Business award. Downtown last, yesterday.
And Arden Frame Warehouse, locally owned and operated for 25 years, located at 92nd and Metcalf over on the west side. Find them online at framekc.com. The best at framing your sports memorabilia. We always mention 810. And you can get some discounts on sports memorabilia, custom shadow boxes. But they're the best when it comes to framing anything. They're incredible.

Chapter 2: What recent events in college football does Blair Kerkhoff cover?
experts in sports memorabilia, which can be very tricky to do, while protecting the item while also displaying it beautifully. But they're the experts at it. Delivery, installation, lifetime guarantee with every item they do. And somebody came up to you and said, you're Curtis. And you said, yes. And you thought, oh, boy, a fan. I'm going to talk to him. He loves the work I do. No.
Nope. Actually, that's not true.
That's not the case. Ryan was not a fan of yours.
He was a fan of Art and Frame. True, true. He was a fan of me, but he was really a fan of Art and Frame.
Okay.
He couldn't stop talking about how good they were. And he said the Petro discount is fantastic. Well, there you go.
So how about that, Blair? Boom.
Right there.
Listen. It's real. It's real.

Chapter 3: How do college football rosters impact team performance?
I'm familiar with the drop.
We'll play the drop and then we'll tell you what it's from. It's so fantastic. It's like one of the great moments in really humankind, if you will, when you consider what the man is so broken up. Really, I think the underrated part of that drop is the people up on the panel And their reaction to the guy like, yeah, man. Yeah. I feel you. I feel you, brother.
The fact that they're like, what the hell is the matter with you, man? Do you have it, Kyle? That's what they were thinking, probably. Do you have it? It's still real, man. Or it's still real to me.
It's still real to me, damn it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Lebo, stop talking to him when we're trying to do a show. You won. How many times do people have to kiss your ass? We're trying to press forward with some comedy here. High level comedy. True.
It's still real to me, damn it.
You know what he was talking about? I don't. He was in like a high school gym sitting on bleachers and they had a panel of like three or four old professional wrestlers. And he was broken up and in tears. That wrestling is still real to him.

Chapter 4: What are the implications of NIL deals for college athletes?
Oh, yeah, man. There you go. You know, it's kind of like the skit they have when one of the last times that William Shatner hosted Saturday Night Live. Yeah. And they had him walk out there and they're all like, hey, can you tell us like in episode six, season two, when, you know, the Gwark was coming in and you didn't go to the tractor beam was he's like. What the hell is wrong with you, man?
Get a life. It was a show, all right? It was a fun little show. That's it. I mean, you, have you even moved out of your parents' house? Do you still live in their base? What are you doing with these ears on? What is this? Like, what is wrong with you? And, like, all of a sudden, a guy runs up and goes, and he goes, how much? Oh. That's right. Oh, really?
And then the guy goes, Mr. Shatner was doing an evil Captain Kirk from episode 27 of season three. And all the nerds are like, oh, okay, okay. One of the underrated bits.
Oh, so good. When I saw that live. Oh, my gosh. It was hilarious.
The flip side of that. What the hell is wrong with you, man? Have you even moved out of your parents' basement?
With his acting style. One of the flip sides of that was Family Guy did an episode where Stewie was meeting the next generation at something. Star Trek the next generation. And he got to hang out with them. And by the end of the day, he was tired of all of them because they were just so annoying. He was like, it was his dream.

Chapter 5: How does the NFL schedule reveal affect fan engagement?
They were going through a McDonald's drive-thru. He's like, do they still like the McDLT? No, they don't have the McDLT anymore. I'd like the Shamrock Shake. They don't serve those anymore. Well, I'm saying they have the makings to make the McDLT. Shut up. It was in the drive-thru. They were just going, I'm just saying. Ah, yes. Good times.
By the way, our friend, Ryan, he posted a reply to me with a picture he took. Got to meet the great KL Seabolt tonight. Wow. Great radio guy, even better person.
Holy cow, this is where we could use William Shatner. What the hell is wrong with you, man? You even moved out of your parents' basement, Ryan? Like, what are you doing?
Get a life.
That is awfully nice. That is nice. All kidding aside, thank you very much, Ryan. That's all I got. And you know what? Loves the show. I would agree with you. I would agree with your assessment of Curtis on the great person part. Radio, eh. But great person, absolutely. Great person. There you go.
Blair, how are you? Less great because I had to call that to attention. Less great because I had to brag about myself.

Chapter 6: What challenges do teams face with roster management?
Usually what he would do is he'd copy it, and then he'd text it to Kyle, and they'd be like, hey, can you act like you just saw this? Send that to the program thread. Yeah. Oh, look. I wouldn't do it. Yeah. And while you're at it, can you just kind of leak it to Chad, too? Make sure Boger sees it.
By the way, he did it right in front of the person who hired me to do the job. And I'm like, Sarah, this isn't a setup. Wow. She was right next to him. I was like, I didn't have him do this. Yeah.
But, you know, you saw it, right? But you did see this, correct? So I'm thinking rate increase.
I mean, you? I don't know.
Me? You? What? Huh?
Huh?
That's what I'm saying here. Just saying. Yes. Blair, how are you, buddy?
Doing great. Yeah. Nothing to complain about? Nothing. Nothing. Big night tonight. The big schedule reveal.

Chapter 7: How does Blair Kerkhoff analyze player performance at the Combine?
Yeah.
Do you get excited about the schedule reveal? Not really.
No.
Fantastic. I think it's nice because you can make some plans.
Well, yes, you can make some plans. We can book a little travel for some of the away games. What I look forward to, actually, we know who the opponents are. What we don't know are the three preseason opponents. It's two at home and one on the road this year, right? Because they have eight regular season home games, so they'll have two home preseason games.
Oh, boy, that just totally makes up for it. It does.
No, it doesn't. But you don't know the opponents there. Yeah. But, yeah, you know who the Chiefs are playing in 2037, much less, you know, 2026. It's because of the formula. But, yeah, and some of it leaks out, although I think there's been a little less of that this year. Right.
Well, what I'm being told is ESPN's got its hands on it now because it's an NFL. NFL and ESPN have joined, and ESPN doesn't want as much out there. The NFL didn't really care what got out there, but now ESPN's been like, now we're trying to get ratings here.
Well, I would think that the streaming services would just say, I don't care about that, and we'll release what we want to release. Netflix has games, and Amazon Prime, and ā

Chapter 8: What predictions does Blair Kerkhoff make for upcoming seasons?
You've got to find places for all these road games. And if they're playing at the Raiders in Week 4, I think that's one that's been out, right? Chiefs at Raiders Week 4. So Week 18 has to be either at Denver or at L.A.,
uh la chargers and i don't think we have they said that they absolutely are going to it's been that way for several years now where you end the season with a division game okay um so it'll be one of those two and i don't think i've seen either one of those games leaked out at la or at chargers at broncos yet my my my assumption would be it would be the chargers don't you think that that would be the one that they'd be looking for
You said Raiders or Chargers for Week 18?
It can't be Raiders because they're going to be at Raiders on Week 4. So it would have to be at Broncos, at Chargers, Week 18.
Well, the Broncos, we've got both Broncos games on here.
Where's the at Broncos?
The at Broncos is Week 8. Well, if this is accurate, again, and we don't have anything confirmed. It's still... But the popular theory is that that's week eight. So it would be Denver or Raiders. That's interesting. I still think that they could wrap with a home game. It'd be tough.
It would be tough. My thought was it would be the Chargers because they go home, home, road, home. But if they're right that that's week six, if it's going to be a home game, it's either the Cardinals or the Jets or the Raiders.
Yeah, but I tend to think it's going to be road-road to end.
