You don't play, you don't talk to the media after the game.

So that went on for several weeks.

The couple of times he did talk to the media after games, after wins...

It was just about how the game went and how you played well, how'd you feel, that sort of thing.

I think Kansas would have been better served if at some point they just had maybe a midweek sit down with the media to explain what was going on.

The handlers didn't want to do it.

Right, right.

And Kansas just turns around and gets another opportunity with one of the highest-profile recruiters coming in.

Right.

It is.

And, you know...

I want the best for the kid.

You want him to do well and hope he gets what he wants.

And I want to see him have a nice NBA career.

It says he wants to play point guard, which he didn't get to do at Kansas, but told the folks at the NBA Combine that he thinks he could play NBA point guard.

We'll have to see about that.
