And so when I got to the point where all my wounds were healed, I said to him, I went and I said, doc, I'm ready to go back, you know? And he said, You ready to go back? He says, Parson, you don't have to go back. He says, I'll keep you here for the rest of the war. And I said, no, I want to go back.
