I didn't see every bat.
So, you know, there's probably a lot of credence to what he's saying.
You know, I would say that each player goes into spring training with a different method to getting themselves ready.
And if I had to guess on the Connor Griffin side, he's only done that a couple times.
We keep forgetting he was just drafted.
So maybe some of what he's seeing there is just him getting used to get the season started.
I don't think it's, you know, the difference in big league and minor league is location.
So, you know, you've got to be on time for that fastball, and it's located more so than the Meyer leg.
You're going to get some that are sprayed down the middle, a lot more sprayed down the middle, so you can be off time or make a mistake.
So it's not the speed that's different.
The off speed is crisper.
It's more supposed to be where it's supposed to be when they throw it.
But I feel like...
I don't look at it as a big deal because I think it's just him learning to be a professional baseball player.
And probably, you know, four years from now, if you bring him into the studio and ask him about, hey, that first spring training when he's the talk of all of baseball right now, he's the number one prospect.
Every day somebody asks me,
Is he going to be up at the beginning of the season?
The Pirates are dumb for this, that, whatever.
He's getting those questions in the clubhouse.
