The velocity is part of what makes him special, but it's just learning how to harness that velocity and throw more strikes.

And Chandler knows that.

He talked about it.

You can't walk six.

I don't even want to walk in three.

But, you know, somebody with the stuff like him, and I really liked his changeup last night.

I thought that was an excellent pitch.

I think that's how he got three of those six strikeouts, if I'm not mistaken.

Um, but rely on that more, you know, he's thrown a lot of fastballs, which I get, but I want to see him throw the break and stuff a little bit more.

Both of those are very good pitches.

Um, but he needs to throw more strikes.

He needs to command the fastball more, but it was still a very good outing.

And I mean, just unhittable, like the only, the only mark against him was the strike throwing.

It wasn't anything the reds were doing.

That's for sure.

Yeah, I have some minor concerns about that.

I don't think Hunter Barco is taking to it the same way we saw Braxton Ashcraft and Bubba Chandler take to it.

I think he's a starter.

I think he needs to probably be in position to start games
