It's been now reported that they met with Mike Babcock.

Usually, your top-end guys often speak for the players.

Did some of those guys speak to your players?

respective players did they communicate uh you know to say colton and matt savoy how they felt about uh about mike babcock and why uh they felt mike was a good coach for the orders

You've got some players that have Jerry Johansson joining us from the Sports Corporation that have been massive overachievers.

Braden Point was a massive overachiever.

He was a third-round draft choice.

He's on the Canadian Olympic team, you know, and...

and those guys like to be pushed.

Do you have any problem if coaches, and we know Babcock's reputation, and we don't think it's, you know, and for the record, I've already stated on the show today, Jerry, that I envision that Babcock will officially be announced the head coach of the Oilers early next week, maybe Tuesday, just, you know, Father's Day is on Saturday or Sunday, you know, maybe a travel day on Monday.

I could foresee a scenario where Tuesday might make sense.

I don't believe it'll just be Mike that's coming in on the coaching staff.

I think it'll be DJ Smith.

It would make a lot of sense if DJ Smith came in with Mike Babcock as well.
