Wow, what a story.
And it was a good series between Vegas and Carolina, wasn't it?
the carolina hurricanes aren't going anywhere so frank here's the situation they were jokingly referred to by some of the harsher critics as the uh you know the carolina brainiacs of course eric tulsky a guy you know well is their general manager this guy is literally a rocket scientist tyler dello who at times was maligned by the media here as you know he was a regular guest before and after his tenure with the orders before he went to new jersey and ultimately ended up with carolina
And I've had this argument with people, the Hurricanes are doing in hockey what baseball did with Moneyball and Michael Lewis 20 years earlier.
What are your thoughts?
Is that too much of a jump to say they did business differently?
Yeah, well, I mean, hey, you got to dig it and you got to want it and you got to care and you got to be there and you got to be present as well.
That's another part, right?
Frank Cervalli joining us from Frankly Hockey.
Bob Stauffer with you on orders now.
So the Hurricanes have won the Stanley Cup.
I do want to briefly talk about Taylor Hall.
You know my feelings on this.
I think he was...
I think the market was overly critical for some, because I've got some friends that are like, no, no, Stoff, the same guys that like Taylor Hall are the same guys that like Evan Bouchard now, and the haters are the same haters on Bouchard that there is on Hall.
I mean, he was damn good for the Carolina Hurricanes.
That line was unreal.
He came in second in the voting, I believe.
Is that correct, for winning the Conn Smythe trophy?
You've got to be happy for a guy like that as well.
