Nobody liked him.
And people laughed about it.
They had no plan for that.
And then when they tried to pivot to Kevin Abrams, it was so obvious that it wasn't going to fly, that they had to make a sudden change to go outside the organization.
But even then, they still stuck to this core thing was never going to change.
These people were family as far as they were concerned.
And Kevin Abrams has been somewhat of a redundancy ever since Joe Shane got here.
They were kind of grooming him to eventually take over.
They pivoted away from that.
And then he was just like another...
accountant on staff.
Well, I do wonder how much success he has to have and how quickly he has to have it.
Like, do any of these uncomfortable moves for the Giants shorten his leash on that sort of thing?
It's like, dude, we made every uncomfortable change you asked us to, and we're still not winning.
You know what I mean?
It has nothing to do with Ronnie Barnes.
It's all about what this symbolizes and what this means.
Absolutely.
I hope in my lifetime I get disrespected so bad that I can work for 45 plus years in the same position while the company plummets and I can keep making at minimum a six-figure annual salary and be so gracious as to disrespect me by changing my role instead of firing me.
At 73, at the time in which people who make that kind of money retire.
