Penn State is where you, Penn State and Illinois is where you really see it.
Penn State just cross chop and bend versus that left tackle.
And then on two play, like probably his two best pass rush reps of the season that I watched.
Then he stood him up and dumped him in the run game.
And then Illinois jacked up the right tackle for a sack and then had another play where he jacked him up and transitioned inside.
A couple of good running plays, squeezing the tight end down and making a play.
Versus Minnesota, put the left tackle on his ass, but kind of got tripped over on the left guard defensive tackle's feet, so it doesn't really count.
So I still have concerns, but I just see the path at edge.
And you know what it is?
It's Nick Benito.
which is a really good player, except for when he's playing Andrew Thomas.
But I just still have questions, Grump, because that linebacker, I think when there is space, he's just not instinctive the way that you want him to be.
I think offensive linemen are just able to walk up into him, and he just doesn't have a plan.
I think he has bad eyes with the running back, where sometimes it's like, hey, make the play, and the running back's running right past him.
But I still have worries of him at edge, because...
He's going to be fourth percentile for weight, 16th percentile for arm length.
But it did remind me of Nick Benito, right, where Benito's seven pounds heavier, an inch shorter.
So, you know, Benito's a little bit better, you know, more thicker build for that edge spot, but they have the same arm length.
But Benito was someone who played that stack and edge at Oklahoma, right?
I think that's kind of it, which is obviously Benito's good and stuff, but I still do have questions of, like, can he get to that level?
