Hmm.
Which is all good.
I think that line, like you said, about guys who don't love football, Joe, we're going to go let them play elsewhere.
I think that's so important because it not only sets a standard for the guys who might slack off that they're not going to slack off.
It pushes the guys who think they might be hard workers to be even harder workers.
And we know that by the way that they grade practices.
I'm excited for it.
I'm excited for some players to get uncomfortable no matter what their level of stardom on the team or ranking on the team is.
That is what I'm excited for.
That's the type of things that where John Harbaugh is going to come in here.
He's not going to be perfect, but that is what I'm just flat out excited for is to really bring the wood to this team and put together an actual culture, not some bullshit about, you know, a couple of wins at the end of the year and actual culture.
i also he he managed he can i interrupt you on like like everyone's mind goes to like dionte banks and jalen high with that you know my mind goes to like and i i kind of dance around this a little bit uh on the reaction video malik neighbors and abdul carter right we heard flat out malik neighbors half-asses practice he half-asses practice we heard that from his rookie season that shit is not gonna fly i'm not sitting here saying i'm excited about you know
trading Malik neighbors or anything like that but he's a great player he should be held to a higher standard right he should be held to the same standard as everybody else on that team and he could still be a great player while half-assing it but half-ass it leads to you know all those illegal procedure penalties they got his rookie season and really we only have his rookie season to go off because they only got three games
really in his first uh his year too uh you know there was interceptions that were thrown where malik neighbors doesn't break off his route at the right time right he's slow playing it too much when you know he if he noticed what the defense was doing he would just run a quick route so like that type of stuff is not going to stop malik neighbors from having 1200 receiving yards but it can stop the giants from winning games abdul carter right we talked about it man
He is talented enough where he's going to get pressures, he's going to get quarterback hits, and he's eventually going to get sacks.
But edge rushers are not judged off of 15 plays per year, but those 15 plays per year are what separate you from being good and great or great and elite.
And that extra film study, not being late to meetings and crap like that, that's the stuff that's all like, I'm more interested.
I'm more excited about the accountability for the better players on the team because those are the guys who weren't held accountable under the pass regime.
It wasn't necessarily the bottom of the roster, guys.
Obviously, Banks got way more opportunities than he deserved.
