They got to work together.
So let's talk about Chris Mara's media availability, which could you imagine saying that two weeks ago?
Like, let's talk about Chris Mara's media availability.
Like, I feel like as much as John Harbaugh is the story of the day, that's the biggest thing.
development out of all of this is chris mara is essentially leading the ship or take you know stepping up uh to lead the ship while john mara deals with um his cancer right you saw some pictures of john mara and your heart truly goes out to him when you see those pictures like they obviously got to keep running an operation but you truly feel for the guy um yeah absolutely i think it is
Yeah, even then, like, you know, Joe Shane introduced Brian Dable in 2022.
So, like, he stepped up for it.
It's the first time we've heard from ownership in over a year, which is a big deal.
And it's the first time we've ever seen Chris Mara speak to the
media i think right unless it was you know against a very casual setting at some type of you know event you know giants 100 or whatever um so
when asked about the power structure, he flat out said like, Oh, the, you know, he doesn't have, nobody has final say, which I think he, the point he was making was like ownership actually has the final say, but he's like, uh, the point he was making was saying that like, he doesn't have final say of like, not every decision has to go through John Harbaugh or John Harbaugh, right?
Like he doesn't have to make every little single decision and clear with him or else he wouldn't be able to do his job.
But he said, uh,
It's all collaborative, but he's the most important cog in the wheel, which that just flat out gave it to us.
They haven't denied that he's the main guy there or the main decision maker.
It is very clear.
This is John Harbaugh's franchise now, especially with the health concerns of John Mara.
And Joe Shane's current status.
John Harbaugh is the leader of the franchise.
It is head coach and then GM.
