I, when I first, when I first was, was working with, um, my publicist, they would send me reviews and I was like, Oh, maybe I don't want to be sent the reviews.
You know what I mean?
It's like, it's sometimes it's, and that was totally fine.
And I, but I do get now why people say I don't read them.
I try not to look at anything because if it's good or it's bad, it's, it's, it's,
Like it's nice to hear that people are enjoying things, but once it starts to get granular and qualitative and it starts to feel statistic in terms of who likes things and who doesn't, like the rotten tomatoes of it all, it's just kind of like, it'll all spin you out.
And then there you are doing that thing I hate, which is taking things too seriously.
I think what changed it for me was I will admit an ugly thing about a distant past, not distant, recent past version of myself, which is I would go on our Reddit page
to see what they were saying, really because I just wanted to make sure they were enjoying the show.
But then it became this thing where it was clear that a lot of the people in that environment were not actually listening to the show anymore.
They were just reacting to whoever we had booked and like judging us based on activities that we were, it just kind of was like, oh, I don't think they're,
talking about the show anymore.
And again, I can't begrudge anyone those clubs because that's a lot of community for people, et cetera.
And they should have it.
I just realized this is not for me anymore.
Right, exactly.
It's not for me to participate or be privy to conversations about Bowen and I's work or my work or whatever.
It's just like I get to enjoy doing it.
Okay, so I've been wanting to hold it.
