Would you have relapsed easily then because of the shame?
And can I ask, would you be a hero to like, we'll say the hard men who, in and out of prison, like, oh, he's out now.
How many times were you in or out of prison?
I can't remember what year that was.
And what was it about then that changed?
What was your pivotal moment where you were like, I just can't do this anymore?
Do people try come and visit you?
And I think some people then, when they're in the grips of addiction and if someone suggested, oh, there's nuns there, there'll be nuns.
Because I think people always associate the whole religion thing.
But I know people who have even gone through it and they're the hardest of the hardest men.
Like, as in, these guys are coming off heroin, they're coming off all these really, like, all the tablets and everything and then they all speak so highly of the nuns.
I think it's,
Probably because what the stereotype man, you couldn't, you know, picture them inside and the adoration they have for the nuns.
How long did you stay with the nuns before you kind of stayed on and started to work in there?
You can tell you love your job.
As I started off the podcast, when I was in touch with you for a friend of a friend, you've gone out of your way.
You're really, really happy.
You've gone out of your way.
And I think the thing about you as well, you're very modest.
Whereas, I don't think you understand the gratitude people have for, like, you're saving people's lives.
