Now, I'm not quite sure how they lost their accreditation.
It's got to do with government funding, apparently.
But somehow they lost their accreditation.
So it's not that the South African Institute for Drug-Free Sport does less tests.
They forced it because there's less money.
And because there's less money now because every test has got to get sent to Belgium.
to be processed, and not in South Africa as it was in the past.
And you can imagine, then you're paying in euros to doing testing that just inflates everything.
And that's the simplest reason why there's less testing done.
But one of the other reasons why that whole sort of allegation doesn't really fly, because they would assume that South African players are tested in a bubble, that they only play in South Africa.
South African players under 20s play in the Junior World Championship, the Springboks play in the Rugby Championship, they play in the tests overseas.
French-class players play in the United Rugby Championship and in the European Cup.
And in all those tournaments that they play in, they play overseas as well.
So they get tested overseas.
So, yeah, you can say, unless they're a hell of a good, and I mean, I've been around for a long time, there has been the odd case here and there of people getting tested, and tested positive, but generally, they don't know when the testing is done, and they get tested quite a bit.
In fact, I know of one player in the Springbok team who's, I think last year he told me he was tested,
22 times out of his 35 games.
Wow.
So, so it happens.
It's just, but what I'm saying is this, it's very easy to say, well, okay, one plus one equals three.
