Much more than you do as a player.
As a player, you might come to the ballpark, get a couple hits, you might lose a game.
You take a shower, you go home, you get ready to play another day.
As a coach, when you lose, it hits hard.
You go to that coaching room, then you commiserate.
I think it's because of the lack of control you have over anything.
And everything is about winning and losing.
And every time we lose, as the hitting coach, I win 0 for 5.
And every time we win, I got no hits.
But we won.
Yeah.
So it was just a different it was just a different experience that I went through.
So I know now being on the other side, a non-player, just being a part of the front office or the coaches, how much you really wear those wins and losses on a daily basis.
No, I think I do.
I think I think I was comfortably miserable.
You know, we had some injuries down the stretch.
With 10 days to go, we were one game out of the wild card, and we had a Simeon and a Seager and a Wyatt Lankford and Evan Carter all went down and missed the last six weeks of the season.
So it was tough sledding for us, and in the end, we just didn't have enough to get over the wire.
This year, I'm off, but no.
