It's focused on producing lots of papers that study some specific, but it's not discovering big new things. And that's not because there isn't lots to be done. In fact, evolutionary biologists in the middle of the 20th century overly narrowed our understanding of Darwinism and have blinded us to what it's really trying to tell us about ourselves. And I would love to see us how to do the process of discovery and to start... I strongly agree.
