He zooms off, leaves them in the dust, and they immediately flag down the police.
Now, we don't really know what happens in the immediate aftermath, but soon after that, sometime after, somebody in the area called the police because they had just found a dead body in their yard.
Now, soon after that, the police, who are now looking for Dayton, they know what his car looks like, they find him at a hospital getting treated for some kind of medical issue.
We have no information on that.
I think it's completely, it's just odd that he would have shot somebody, dumped the body, and then gone to the hospital.
I don't know if there was a wreck, if something happened.
No idea if he was suffering from something, but he ended up being at the hospital, and that is where they found him.
They subsequently arrested him, and now he is being charged with murder, first degree, second degree, first degree assault, a myriad of other things, and here is his mugshot.
Now, I am no expert on true crime.
I am not one of those women that finds entertainment in listening to bodies being dismembered and missing people's cases in podcasts.
It's just like horrifying to me.
But based on my limited experience, I would say that this doesn't really look like the most remorseful or upset young man.

When the news broke, when people saw that headline that again, read like something from the Onion or the Babylon Bee, the internet had the same reaction that I'm guessing you are probably having right now.
