Remember two or three years ago, was it Blake Hinson?
That was at Duke, though, I think.
He hit a bunch of threes, and he stood on the scorer's table and

I just โ to go back to the overall โ the overarching point, I mean, college basketball is โ I was a diehard for the longest time, and I still do follow it and like it, but I don't watch it nearly as much as I once did because, you know, in the old โ I say old days, but in pre-transfer portal and NIL going crazy โ
You wouldn't completely check out on a team like Pitt this year because you'd have freshmen or sophomores who you want to see them get better and progress throughout the season.
Now I find it hard to really invest because it just feels like the way of the world anymore in the sport.
If they struggle this year, these guys are going to be gone and they're going to bring in new faces next year.
At quarterback?
Well, I think if you're running it back with Rodgers, it would be pretty easy and I guess logical to run it back with the other guys in that room.
You'd have the same sort of hierarchy or pecking order, but ideally with a healthy Will Howard, unlike this past season.
But, yeah, I mean, you'd have Mason Rudolph as your โ
middle of the road, break glass in case of emergency.
But maybe Will Howard emerges if he gets a chance to show out in the preseason this year, unlike last season.
So that's kind of what I think they're going to do.
I think it would be
You know, it probably roll out guys like Malik Willis and, you know, some of those players who are going to be on the open market this year if you opt to sign Rodgers.
And we know what this draft class is looking like.
It seems like every year that the Steelers are sort of set up to make a move at quarterback in the draft, 2026.
2022, the college ranks do not provide them with the depth of options that they were hoping for going into it.
