And then the years that they are not looking at quarterback, look at, you know, there's four, five, six going in the first round.
So they can't seem to time that up right lately.
I don't know what's worse, wasting picks or wasting seasons and years of Cam Hayward and TJ Watt at this point while you keep cycling through options that aren't getting it done.
Say what you will about Aaron Rodgers, I think he played better than I expected this past season, but the move itself to bring him in at quarterback still did not get them over the hump in the playoffs.
It's not like that wildcard game was 33-30 that they lost and he did all he could.
No, the offense sputtered completely.

that wasn't the solution.
And I guess you could stare at it long enough and convince yourself, okay, maybe he's a better fit for what Mike McCarthy wants to do offensively and they have the familiarity between each other and things will go better.
But it's a little bit of a tough sell for me the way last season ended.

As far as investing in a quarterback that high, I don't know that I would.
But day three, I'd probably just throw a dart.
If it's the fourth round, sure, maybe you can tap into one of those guys and come up with some reasons why Aller, Cade Klubnick, Garrett Nussmeier didn't work out the way they were supposed to in 2025.
But I know this point has been made by a lot of people.
I don't know that any of them
really strike me as a huge upgrade over Will Howard based on what we saw from him his last year at Ohio State.
It would surprise me, but it is February 10th.
There's going to be a lot more that falls into place before anyone's draft card is written down or any names are called on the stage over at Akershire.
