NASA wants to make, to be fair, NASA wants to make sure the damn thing lands and doesn't, you know, they want to land the thing on Mars safely.
So what they'll say is we need to land in a non-rocky area away from things that might tip it over or might be obstructing its movement or things like that.
That's what they tell us.
And there's got to be some truth to that because, yeah, you don't spend all this money to send something in there for it to crash and get stuck.
Yeah, get it close and then drive it over there.
