Now it's a team from a championship with Neil Lennon.
He's been a serial winner.
He's got a footballing career and a managerial career so it's going to be a real tough, tough, tough game and two good managers going head to head but listen, from a Falkirk perspective we want to make sure we get to the final.
Did you ever follow him?
no I agree with you it was a brilliant game of football lucky enough to watch it as well and I stumbled across it as well same as you so no but it was a good one to take in but honestly we're speaking about this split fixtures semi-final weekend how exciting it's going to be over the course of the next couple of weeks and months what a time for Scottish football the games everybody's talking about it and it's a fantastic time of the year where we're now at the crunch business end of the season as you call it and who knows what's going to happen let's do it with Cameron in Bearsden first up hi Cameron
That's what I mean.
I think Falkirk are going to play a depleted team.
No, I wouldn't say that.
You don't know our manager.
Our manager goes into every game to win, so I wouldn't come up with these theories so early on.
Just let us try and get to the final first and foremost and we'll see how it comes.
I know, but as a player, sometimes sitting out, sometimes you want to play for an hour and then play the following week.
Because there's a week apart, isn't it?
Exactly.
It's not as if it's a midweek game, so I don't think that will come down.
managers will want to play a full strength team and fight for players as well and their confidence and rhythm and all that stuff you want to continue playing when you're playing well you don't want to have a week out rest for the game the following week you want to continue playing you think it would be wholesale remember that's a different era when Gordon played he wanted to play once a month now it's different
have we won them all no we haven't but we've been in with that mindset and that game plan to try and win sometimes it comes off sometimes it doesn't that'll be the case with these last five games there's going to be fans out there we are these conspiracy theories us as a club and players we're getting not involved in any of that nonsense I'm confused when I'm going to keep repeating it because Cameron was a Rangers fan so it wasn't even a conspiracy theory
I watched the game on Saturday obviously we were game being Sunday thought Celtic first half when they get that early goal as Gordon mentioned I thought myself as well I thought they'd go three maybe four but fair play to St Mirna stuck in second half they passed the ball really well wee boy in the middle of the park thought it was excellent for them kind of dictated the game second half so it's going to be a difficult game for Celtic come Sunday Thank you Andy whether it's the Scottish Cup the title race the sort of merging of the two as we've just done or anything else you've got on your mind let's hear from you and we'll speak to you next
excited about it everyone's looking forward to it again we've had some really good days this week we've got one more day of prep on saturday ahead of the game so like not just really looking forward to the occasion a lot of our message has been that like we've been here this season we've done it we've showed that we can do it even if you aren't favorites for a game and we know that that's not what we are that this weekend but on a one-off occasion and a semi-final at hamden like we've we've been there we've done it and we're more than capable of doing it again
it's us going there and going toe to toe with them and being brave and taking part in the game not trying to hang on to a game or not trying to nick things just on a counter attack we're absolutely going there with the intention to win the game Hopefully hear from St Mirren fans throughout the show Gordon I think what's really fascinating about what St Mirren are doing at the moment is they have totally changed the way
