But moving, being told where you live, it's not just in the player's life.

It's in coaches' lives, too.

And that's easy to trace that tree for many really good coaches in this league.

I definitely agree they're very competitively run.

I am good friends with their GM, George McPhee, for that matter.

So both Kelly and George.

And, you know, they have a particular style.

They've been relentless in their pursuit.

They've been rewarded with the Stanley Cup.

They've had some pretty good performance.

They're at it again this year.

They made what was considered a very aggressive move, obviously, late in the season, bringing in John Tortorella.

So it does kind of fit the mold of what they're doing, and yet I know both those guys, and they're very, very thoughtful in person.

It's just that they will make tough decisions that aren't popular at times.

A lot.

It'd be hard to ignore that.

I mean, the Oilers have had a great thing going for a number of years.

And they'd like to see that continue.

I just think Stan has a fiduciary responsibility, literally, to do everything he can to try to improve the team.

That's just a fact.
