And I remember thinking to myself, instantly, just a load of anxiety dropped.

And I looked across at Smithy and looked across at Jonesy and looked across at young Dobbo, something you know, and I thought, it's true though.

It's true though.

So all of a sudden we went from being really anxious to then thinking, yeah, let's go.

Let's go.

And then we went to Iraq and did what we did in Iraq and then came back.

Now, I don't know if that transfers to what we've got to do.

you know, the British boys, the English boys are going to get sent on a mission that not many people think they're going to come back with the goods.

When we went to Iraq, not many people thought we were coming back anyway.

But...

But I want our blokes to know that they have their weekly preparation and the preparation that I'll go through and win them through the year.

And just some of that humility of where we're from, some of the disadvantage that we've got, yet we still get to a point in a game where the bigger teams go, holy shit, we can't keep up with this.

if we play with a point of difference, I know we'll get to that point in the game again.

And if we play with a point of difference, when that moment reveals itself, we won't be off trying to use a shape that they're all using, trying to run around the best defensive team in the comp.

We're going to do something different.

So now if you're going to ask me, do you think I can win or we can win?

Yeah, absolutely.

Absolutely.

Because of who we are, because of the preparation that we'll go through.
