Now, I went to the Everston House Hotel in Killarney.
They've been providing accommodation since the war began, really, run by Patrick Everston.
It's been a hotel since the 1990s.
They have 112 rooms.
They won't be accommodating Ukrainians from next week on under this model.
Patrick told me how they began taking in Ukrainians in the first place.
And how many Ukrainians would you have helped accommodate here over the years?
So when did it start then tapering off, or when were you getting a sense, OK, this isn't going to continue?
Were there many Ukrainians left living here?
And then the announcement from government that they are not going to provide the supports for Ukrainians living in hotels like this anymore.
And obviously a hotel room as an emergency response or an interim measure, everybody understands that, but as a long-term living arrangement for a family is not suitable, people would acknowledge.
And it's very tricky.
I mean, they're obviously very understanding and they're very appreciative of the past few years.
But I suppose their difficulty is those that still require state supported accommodation don't know where they're going to be at the end of next week.
You know, living in a hotel room long term is not what anyone wants.
It's very hard to find private rental accommodation.
It's very hard to start again in a different area.
Some are quite concerned.
They might be, what might be facing them or where they might end up if they have to accept state accommodation again.
Now, this woman I met came here when she was 16, David.
