They use the phrase industrial scale fabrication.
So the argument for governed intelligence is basically a logistical one.
Like we physically cannot fact check this stuff fast enough manually.
We need AI to police AI.
OK, let's break those down.
What's the first one?
Right, the baseline stuff.
Like it shouldn't give you a step-by-step recipe for a biological weapon.
But here is where it gets interesting, I think.
Critics usually say these filters are just censorship disguised as safety.
But the proponents of governed intelligence argue that these filters actually make the AI better as a commercial product.
That is a huge chunk of time.
You don't spend 40 percent of your resources on something unless you think it adds serious value to the end product.
That's a very fair point.
