I went back, uh, for small game, but during the daytime, cause there I was, it was like five in the morning and it was a clear day and I got to scope it out a little bit and nothing strange. It was very normal. It's a great spot. If you want to go dove and pheasant hunting, um,

The empty portions of the property on the back, that was probably, if anything, that's where someone would hole up, but I didn't see anybody or any evidence of people.

So it was just really, really weird. I've never had another experience out in the woods with how often I've gone hunting around here before. that's been similar. No, no sensation of something weird. I know I've seen, you know, coyotes and the presence of other predators and stuff where you're like, okay, time to, time to hoof it.

Or you start hearing the yips and the owls and you're like, all right, time to move along. But nothing like that.

And I will note for everyone, too, when it comes to mountain lions and apex predators, especially the big cats, the only time you're going to know they're there is if they want you to know they're there. They are that dead quiet, and it's one of the reasons why hiking out in the West is so terrifying, especially if you happen to enter their territory.

Empty enough outside of the city. And I've hunted plenty. I lived in that area as well, and I've hunted all over Reading, around that south towards Morgantown, north up towards the mountains when you get up there, and never had an encounter quite like that. Uh, also I grew up in bear country and which is a weird thing to say for, uh, New Jersey is bear country.

Surprisingly, North Jersey is, has a ton of bears. Um, it is very, very fun, uh, cause they're kind of funny and goofy, but they, you get used to knowing the sounds and the expectations with them. They're, you know, pretty easy to spot and you can tell them in the dark, even if there's just black bears.

So it's,
So it's,
And then the only other thing, and I will say, I think it happened at a similar time while I was there, was there was a guy going around to different state parks and game lands and putting up papers on trees and the parking area saying that there's been Bigfoot sightings and you should call the state game commission to talk about it if you've seen something.
