i know i definitely do but you know what my ideal version of my summer self does not and i don't have to wait for it to be summer in order to stop doing those things because real growth starts now and it starts with progress and baby steps it's not going to be an instant fairy godmother is going to show up and wave her magic wand and everything is going to be perfect you're going to have the summer bod perfect relationship perfect friendship you're going to be on a beach in tahiti like as much as i would love
it requires some effort and some time and intention.
Number two is we are going to reflect.
This is where the identity shift happens.
So I want you to reflect on what you want your dream life to look like.
And maybe it's something that you feel like is so far away, or maybe it's something you feel like is attainable, but I need you to realize that this version of yourself that you are creating in your head is still you.
We often feel like it's this other person.
who is out of reach and we have to somehow spawn into becoming them or it's going to be some access that is magically granted to us or unlocked one day, you are already that person.
And so my challenge for you is to decide who you are now and show up as her today.
Don't wait for progress or for some sort of proof or permission in order to start acting as such.
So yes, make the vision boards, visualize it all, and ask yourself things like, what would my dream self's day-to-day morning routine and night routine look like?
And then ask yourself, well, what's standing in the way between me and that?
Because my dream version of myself, maybe she's waking up every day at 7 a.m.
and she's spending the first hour of her day off her phone.
She's drinking water, making a healthy breakfast, going on a walk, being really intentional, reading her Bible.
Those are all things that every single one of us can do today.
And maybe my night routine is, oh, well, I would probably unplug my phone early and I would really focus on myself.
I would journal, write in my planner, read my Bible again, stretch, watch the sunset.
It sounds like such a dreamy, utopian life.
Every single one of us can do that right now.
