You need to realize that these physical routines and habits you are implementing will not last without a full identity shift.

You need to no longer see yourself as this person who's trying this challenge, this girl who's implementing this new habit. You need to view yourself as the kind of person who does these things.

And when it comes to spring and summer, oftentimes it's viewing yourself as the kind of girl who takes care of herself, her body, her mental health, who does her routines no matter what other factors get in the way. Not just the girl who's like, okay, I'm going to try really hard for seven days straight to go to the gym and drink water and eat right and tan.

That may in the moment feel easier and more attainable because it's a short-term goal, but in actuality, you are making it harder on yourself because you aren't building a lasting image of who you want to be. You are just clinging on to a temporary satisfaction. So I need you to know that motivation does not last, but self-concept does.

Your self-concept is essentially how you view yourself and knowing that regardless of how anyone else sees you, you know who you are at your core, the kind of worth that you have, the kind of habits you maintain, just the value that you hold yourself to and the standard.

We all fall back at times.
