It is an analogy.

I feel like I have to say that because people have been like, that's not a theory.

okay it's a story it is a story but it is a very very eye-opening and sobering story so i'm going to tell it to you guys there once was a young girl and her father had this pink diamond beautiful diamond and her father gave it to her and sent her into the city and he said go bring this around town and when they ask you how much it costs hold up just two fingers so the little girl

walks into town and first she goes to the baker when she goes to the baker he asks how much for the diamond and she holds up two fingers he says two dollars okay i'll take it but the girl knows that her diamond is worth far more than just two measly dollars so she says no thank you

and keeps walking to the next place because she knows her diamond is not worth just $2.

She then goes to the antique store where she presents her diamond.

When the worker asks how much she holds up just her two fingers and he says, $200?

Mmm, I don't think so.

I'm not willing to pay $200 for that diamond.

No thanks.

And she's thinking, girl, $200?

Please, this diamond is not worth $200 to begin with.

And so she keeps walking as well.

She knows that her diamond is worth much more than just the $200 that this guy is offering.

then she ends up at the jeweler when she brings the diamond into the jeweler he asks how much for the diamond she holds up her two fingers and he says two million dollars that is a fair price for such a beautiful gem if you haven't caught on by now the pink diamond is you

you are the pink diamond and you have to know that you are worth so much more and in everyone's eyes they will have a different picture of what they're wanting to offer maybe they want the easy way out maybe they want something so beautiful for such a cheap price maybe they won't even be willing to rise to the occasion but

If you wait long enough, you will come across someone who sees your true value and who will be willing to meet you where you are even if it requires more effort, time, or energy.

They see your true value and they know that you are worth it.

Imagine if the girl had just said yes to the first place she went to, to the baker.

She just said yes to those two dollars.
