That's when it becomes an issue.
So something that I definitely recommend also would be to journal, of course, and keep a planner.
You guys know I have my becoming her planner and this has truly helped me just really prioritize and be intentional with my time.
There are lots of pages on setting your intentions for the week, for the month, for the year, but each week it allows you to write your priorities and your intentions for the week and this just helps me stay organized and that way I know and I can check off like, okay, I need to do these things before I scroll.
I know a lot of you are not going to stop scrolling.
So my ask is that you at least do the things you need to get done before you scroll because the phone is the most amazing tool for procrastination.
I will give you that.
I think the phone is procrastination's best friend.
Another hack that I love is only letting myself go on my phone when I am on the treadmill or working out or doing something.
Only letting myself go on...
tiktok if i am on the treadmill and that way at least one i know i can't be on there forever right i could not do five hours on the treadmill i'm sorry i just can't but if i'm on there for an hour and i need an hour to go on and interact with some people even if i do end up accidentally scrolling at least i'm getting my steps in while doing so so that's been my favorite hack for a while
And I think that could be a really great boundary to set for yourself.
But I think that phones are such a casual thing to own that we have no boundaries with it because you take it everywhere.
So I just think to come up with new boundaries and being like, I'm only going to go on my phone from this time to this time.
Maybe you choose a time in the day, you know, 12 p.m.
to 2 p.m.
So that way it's not late at night, at least like right before bed or first thing in the morning.
Or maybe I'm only going to go on my phone while I'm...
On the treadmill, I'm only going to go on my phone if I get all these things done.
Creating some sort of boundary or ultimatum for yourself, if you will, just to force ourselves because as much as I wish I could just say, hey guys, it's bad for you to go on your phone and everyone stops doing it.
