It can be someone you've known since the second you came out of the womb.

Just because you've known them for a long time does not mean that they're your bestie.

Just because you spend every single day with them does not mean that they actually care about you and want to see you grow and succeed.

And that's what we kind of need to outroot.

I need you to take off these rose-colored lenses for just a second.

Yes, I know we love to romanticize around here.

We love to be super optimistic in this household, the hot and unbothered household.

I think that when it comes to facing the reality of the fact that you might have people in your life that do not want you to grow and do not want you to succeed, it's time to be more realistic in this sense and it's time to just like not think all butterflies and rainbows but actually get into the nitty gritty.

I'm not saying look at people negatively and automatically assume the worst, but what I am saying is just be very discernful and have your eyes open and just take note of things that are happening that are a little bit off.

And I'm going to go through a list of red flags that you may see in some of your fake friends that you might not even know are fake.

Number one red flag and oftentimes the biggest indicator is when they talk about other friends.

Large friend groups are pretty common or groups of multiple people are very common and you often have a friend in there that loves...

the tea right they love the chisme you know what i mean and there can be a healthy extent of that right maybe oh my gosh i saw this today or heard this sure even that in itself not healthy don't recommend i could not recommend enough like stay out of gossip and stay out of drama but

It gets to a point, if you notice there is a friend who constantly has something negative to say about every single person.

Like, oh, did you see Brie's outfit?

It looks so ugly.

Or like Brie, when she did this, it was so annoying and I just like couldn't even stand it.

She's so annoying.

Like, I don't know.

And when they do this, they may make you feel like you are in on some kind of joke.
