This one's a little freaky.

But you might think there's people who keep you around because they want to make themselves bigger and you feel smaller.

There are also people who are only friends with you because they quite literally want to steal your life or your personality.

This sounds so TV drama coded, but it does happen.

And there's a difference between influencing your friends.

Like, you get really cute pants and your friend's like, ugh, I love those pants, I need them.

But then there's like, okay, your friend who is copying your career path, who is copying your boy taste, who is copying your style, who is copying your Instagram posts.

Like, it gets to a creepy point.

I have yet to experience this one on an extreme level, but I have experienced it in more mild sense.

And it's just like,

You don't want to be friends with someone who not only doesn't have a personality but who is also trying to steal yours, which is really weird.

And another major red flag is that when people only come back to you when they have no one else.

Maybe you have a friend who's super hot and cold or you guys are always on and off in your relationship dynamic.

Maybe it feels like sometimes you're really close and then they'll go get close with someone else for a little bit and then they'll come back to you as soon as things hit the fan with that last friend and suddenly they want to act like no time has passed.

And don't get me wrong, there are friendships that go through different seasons.

You are not always going to be consistently close with the exact same people throughout all months of the year.

However, if it's a pattern that they totally ghost you and then they come back and they act like nothing ever happened and they feel no need to explain, that is something to look at because I don't want to be someone's friend if it's only when it's convenient for them.

I don't want to be someone's friend if I'm just a last resort who's there because they know that I always will be.

So many people will walk all over you, will talk behind your back, will quite literally ghost you, leave you, go start a whole new friend group, and then come back like they never left because they know you will let them.

And the same thing goes with every single red flag that I said in this episode.
