And not until the last couple of years, probably about three or four years, maybe five years, it's clicked in my head that, you know, you're not paying for somebody to sell your product.
you're paying somebody to get the data to help you sell your product and that data literally takes time just like with google ads you know or even even with amazon well i think amazon's different i don't know i may be wrong but you you have to invest in it to get the data first and that takes a couple of months like it's not it doesn't happen in a week or two like you have to literally track what people are doing with your products so that you can make a decision to better advertise it and i don't think a lot of people
look at it that way they look at it like oh okay well i'm just giving them money like when are the sales gonna happen and that's just not that's not how it works and i you know i'm at fault because i thought the wrong thing before too but you know and i don't i don't think a lot of people see it for what what that is
Well, even Amazon itself, I think they did an article or I read something about how he, he literally showed a loss like for like five or six years, he was like the biggest company with a loss.
So you're right.
You have to constantly reinvest it.
If you're not willing to do that, like if you're just like, oh great, I just, I made a sale.
Let me keep all this money.
You're just, it's, you're doomed to not succeed because you have to keep putting in that money into it.
But,
i think at least one of those levers has to be pulled at all times for any kind of growth at this point you are right about i wanted to touch on the whole like changing the image and doing little things and finding out little things that you can change or do not just with the listing but with the product and your presentation in general you don't know if you don't try it so just like with the keywords and stuff i know my brand manager kind of helped me understand that he was like okay you know well you can put these keywords out here and then
you can see what they do.

And again, I don't think, I don't, I think people have a misconception of when they pay for advertising, how exactly it works and that's how it works.
Like that's how this only way trial and error, like, you know, you can't too bad.
