I get back out there and I'm raging at this, like a little bit angry at this point.

So I get out there.

warming up my tires jackson was coming down the main straight and putting and i was like oh i got four tires jackson's just gonna let me go so i come through turn two come through turn three and he shows the nose into four locks up hits me in the rear my rear diffuser drops down again so everything they just fixed literally three corners into my next stint my own teammate undone

I could not believe it.

I was in the car.

I was like, guys, Jackson just hit me.

reckons it was actually pretty funny later because we get in a lot of trouble if you hit each other but jackson reckons he's like yeah i just i just come in accidentally like a front hit you and he's like instantly just see a diffuser pop down again i'm like what what was the point of us even doing a long pit stop i might as well just run around in six because my diffuser was still stuffed for the rest of the run so that was funny but you've got a flag for that if you kept going around

Well, you didn't afterwards.

But it did 16 laps.

It was probably not going to... I don't know.

At the end of the day, that's Supercar's decision.

And that was disappointing because I ended up... I think I ended up like 17th in that race, which was...

Yeah, he's kind of impressed me because when you look back, it's actually been a pretty steep rise because he was doing not a bad job last year, but he was 11th going into the finals and then got in due to, I think, Brock passing Andre and then got through to the fourth.

But then I was like, oh, I wonder what he'll be like.

But in the finals, he was impressive.

And then he's come out this year and he's consistently qualifying up the front, consistently racing up the front.
