And then after two weeks they wake up and they cry heaps.
So Lucas went back to work and then I had two babies and two very different kinds of babies, like different species.

And so this chaos that I thought was at max capacity with just having one hard baby just doubled.

But I could not comprehend that was going to happen for me because it was so hard.
And it was the nights were long and the days were like relentless.
And you read all these things that terrify you.
Like if you don't spend enough time, if you don't make enough eye contact with your baby, they will turn to a serial killer.
And I was like, Christ, we've got so many of them.
I'll just, all right.
And that's really a male-dominated field, girls.
So I was like, okay.
So it was never like 20 seconds where I'd be, oh, this is the easy bit or just walking to the shops or walking to do this and then she's strapped in.
Oh, someone's smell.
