Eventually I said, his head's big.
There were extra scans.
I can't remember if I said they were fluid, but one of the doctors went, right, okay, yep, sure.
And they were jamming like glucose into his mouth, like violently into his mouth because obviously it was an emergency.
He had no blood sugar levels, nil.
And then two doctors came over to talk to me and they were like, now –
have you ever had a cold sore?
And I was like, well, yeah, I've had it.
And they were like, oh, okay.
And then they were like screaming something back like, the mother's had a cold sore because, you know, you kiss newborn babies if you've got a cold sore, it can kill them.
But I was like, but I haven't had one.
I don't have one.
I didn't have one.
I never knew that.
Oh, it's horrific, horrific.
So I was like, no, I haven't.
And they were like, did you kiss him on his face?
I was like, you've kissed him on his face heaps, like past three days, that's all I've done.
