See, I think sometimes we apply for a job out of boredom, right?

So we might be unhappy with a current situation.

We look around, we go, ah...

Yeah, I'm going to apply for that job.

And you throw the net out.

And then when you actually get the job, and I think today it might be a bit more difficult because there's a series of interviews and stuff.

But I remember living in Canberra and I was so unhappy with the job I was doing.

I was temping, you know, like going around to offices when a girl was sick and filling in for the day.

And so I applied to be a ballet teacher because I thought, I've done ballet, I can do that.

Like I actually did really well in ballet and did it for many years.

No, no, that's not true.

No, mum would never have said that.

Dad might have, dad might have.

But dad never even went to see me do ballet, so he didn't know.

Well, yeah, I just applied for it, not even thinking.

All I thought was, oh, this will be nice, like teach kids after school in a ballet studio.

Well, lo and behold, I got the job immediately.

They said, actually, we're looking for a ballet teacher.

And I said, great.
