With each retraction, we share that light with all around us.
With each cycle of breath, we dwell consciously and fully in the grace of the present moment.
Finding ourselves solid, stable, relaxed, at peace.
And as we rest now,
using the imagination because all is possible in the imagination.
Go back to the very first moment that you woke today, however long ago that was.
And slowly as though watching a movie, watch the day that you have had so far.
Notice what becomes clear to you
The things, the people, the events that made an impression on you today.
Bring yourself right up to the moment where you chose to sit in meditation.
And watch yourself sitting.
Watch the rise and fall of your breath.
Simply observing all that is from within yourself and even from the outside.
All the while breathing in and breathing out.
And having reviewed the day, you can ask yourself now,
What was the positive that took place in this day so far?
What were the positive things?
What are the things, the moments, the encounters that you would characterize as being filled with compassion, love, joy, peace,
And really noticing those moments.
Whether there is one or many.
