I don't take credit for anything.
It's just that if I'm out there, whether it's on a show like yours, or I'm able to do an interview and promote the UFC and
it's incredible working with joe it's incredible working with dana um but like i always say the show is not about me i don't take credit for anything i just go in and do my job whatever comes out of that whatever accolades or criticism or whatever i mean that's just life you know but whatever happens i'll roll with it and it's building a brand i never had its time it's time never said it's time in the beginning i didn't even get into that until years later
And it wasn't until like 2003 that I was in Brazil when I started saying it's time during the main event a few years before that.
I walked out of the Octagon during the main event and Stitch Duran, you know, one of the best stitch men, if not the best stitch man in the business, came up to me and he said, Buff, did you hear that?
Because I'm only focused on the fighters.
I honestly don't hear the crowd.
I'm looking in the eye of the tiger, right?
My job is to enhance that moment for them as much as possible and enhance it for the fans.
And he said, I said, no, I hear what?
Just said, it's time with you.
Now, these are Portuguese-speaking people.
And I watched it on TV, and I go, oh.
That's when I knew something was happening.
