to question and uh i ended up kind of falling away from the church as a result because the church that my dad helped start they weren't providing answers they weren't really there for me in the way that i needed them to be and i like at the time sure i did blame them i'm an adult now i totally understand you like you're an 11 year old kid you can't put that responsibility on people and expect them to be perfect all the time so i ended up getting into

drugs and alcohol and really it was it was more it was more the hallucinogens because i knew there was more out there and i i wanted to experience it i wanted that like real experience you know like i wanted selfishly to experience god like i i was like i know he's real i know my prayers are real

But then there's this whole other thing going on.

And maybe this is how I get closer and I can find my answers.

And so that turned into, you know, mushrooms and acid.

And by this time, I'm in high school.

And I got a buddy named Billy.

And we would go out in the desert near Four Peaks, Arizona.

And we'd have these little trips.

We found caves out there.

It's a really amazing spot.

And one night we were tripping and Billy was like, we need to find Prophecy Rock.

I was like, what do you mean?

He's like, just something tells me we need to find Prophecy Rock, like right now.
