you know what i mean and like do all these things like look i believe that you know you have the right to use drugs in the safety and comfort of your own home because then it's not impacting other people but the moment you go outside of your home and you start you know impacting other people that's when you say hey you can't do that in this space because this is a public space and i completely agree with that as a stance but you know play to play devil's advocate even on that level uh

But the other thing, too, is that if you actually look at the statistics, only about 10% of the revenue that's used to create that actually comes from crime, and 90% of it actually comes from jobs and legal income.

See, I think there, like, I understand your point, but I think that if you dive into the statistics more, you're kind of arguing, like, what comes first, the chicken or the egg?

And this is, like, when you start to dive into, like, criminal justice statistics, you see just how bad it is.

So, like, police officers will look at people that are arrested, and they will say, you know, 90% of people that are arrested are high on drugs, therefore drugs cause crime.

But when you look at the statistic, guess what?

Out of people that use drugs, only about 10% of the overall population that uses drugs commits other crime other than the actual act itself.

So I think that, once again,

The problems you're talking about, to me, come from the prohibition and not the drug itself.

So I think that if you could be shown that, you'd say, hey, you know what?

Maybe this prohibition isn't the right way.

Fentanyl wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for prohibition.
