Well, but again, sometimes it's uninformed.
Sometimes it's overstated.
Like, again, I'll give you an example.
When Bryce Harper left in Washington, sure, they're like, I can't believe this guy's leaving.
They had Juan Soto that was already on the team, and he was like 20.
Now, I'm not sure every fan knew exactly what Soto was going to be, but it worked out.
Anthony Rendon actually wanted to play baseball that year.
So it was a really good position.
They had Scherzer and Strasburg and a great staff.
But there's other examples, like Atlanta's case in point, where they don't have a superstar that sticks out necessarily, but you're doing it by committee.
Again, to a much lesser extent, but there was a famous trade with the Raptors back in the day when Rudy Gay got dealt.
And remember that deal?
It was with Sacramento.
It was a tank move.
And Masai was tanking.
And they brought in Chuck Hayes.
And was it Nesterovich that came with that deal?
Or did they sign him?
