We're just so blessed when it comes to the loose forward trio.

I think we've touched on a lot over the years around who would be able to pick into the squad.

And the players that you have touched on are more than worthy to be able to... Well, here's another one as well.

So, you know, like...

I think the biggest thing that Jip has always said, and I think this stands true, that, you know, consistency in big games, that's when you kind of find out.

And so, you know, Dom Gardner has been played very, very well.

Coming back probably the last couple of years, previously before this year, a few injuries, wasn't able to get on the paddock.

But with his skillset and the way that he is playing, having opportunities, he's having some really good performances in a lot of areas when it comes to loose forward trio.

But...

To become an All Black, I think you've got to be able to play against the best loose forwards and be able to outplay them.

And so you've got the Hurricanes and the great opportunity with them.

I think they're the best loose forward trio in the comp.

If you continue to stack up performances against teams like that and going into the final series, if the Crusaders are in and around that space and perform as well, then I think the consistency based around your body of work gives themselves an opportunity to be able to be, you know, I guess, in line for the All Blacks or kind of the incumbents and asking them questions in and around that.

and losing right no not at all look i think as as players you want to have a result and that's just that's just me personally like i get it it's 80 minutes and sometimes you know you might be thinking like we've walked away for a draw like if you look at the that reds game they scored two tries in the last five minutes they're probably thinking all right yeah we can walk away with the draw there but as a player you could be different here my reaction was like nah

Ross, I think we're not aligned here, mate.

This is the only time maybe all three of us aren't aligned here because I want a result.

If I'm wrong here, after 10 minutes, if there's no result, then it's a draw.

But you get 10 minutes to be able to be in a pressure cooker, a pressure cooker, to be able to win the game.

You still have a chance to be able to get the two points anyway after 10 minutes.

I can imagine that Steven Perifeta will be giving the halfbacks a wee bit of a pump up in what it does really look like to be a halfback because, yeah, it's tough.
