Basically, they can respond to the reviews or they can even just editing their business page.
So it's good for their business.
However, no one tell you that there's hidden cost, like the reputation cost.
I don't really remember that correctly, but, you know, so before the claiming, what we found is people talking more about the food-related complaints, but after the claiming, they are more talking about the owner-related issue.
Basically, you didn't welcome me, something like that, and starving from that, or, you know, all of the service issues that are related to owner.
That's kind of also striking point that we found.
So, yeah, so I'm not saying claiming is always bad.
Basically, what I'm talking is you can claim, and I recommend you to claim only if you are prepared.
Basically, if you just claimed your page, but you are doing nothing after that, then you will be the prey of this claiming negative effect.
Um, so, but, but, and all strikingly in our sample, that's a huge proportion within our sample.
So people just claim and then they do nothing.
And then they got, they got, uh, they got the negative or negative effect from claiming.
So I'm also having Yelp users and Google review users.
Basically, whenever I first go to the restaurant, I look through the reviews and ratings, basically.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's how it is.
So basically, but I was questioned... I questioned that...
There are actually a lot of business pages that remain unclaimed.
And platforms are saying, hey, this is a good thing.
But I kind of figured that there might be some kind of downside of this business page claim.
So that's kind of why we are studying this.
