But being that I watched the show from the first season, I was very familiar with this incident.

She was arrested.

She had to face charges.

She had to go through all the back and forth over the child custody agreements.

She and him reconciled.

This all played out during the first few seasons of this show very publicly.

This was not like...

hidden away.

Now what he did, this guy's name is Dakota and he is a member of quote unquote dad talk.

So, you know, more cringe.

And so what he did is have this very up and down relationship with Taylor Frankie Paul in the years from that incident taking place to today when she's announced as the bachelorette.

And so he holds onto this video, waits until her season is done filming and she's in promo for the show and he sells the video to TMZ.

And the video is taking place after, they're in the middle of a very heated domestic altercation where she is behaving terribly, he is filming it, but you don't know what's happened before that.

And if you watch the show, you know that they have this reactive relationship where you're left wondering like, well, what did he do before he picked up the camera?

So you're missing a lot of pieces of the story, but what you do see from her is terrible.

And it was not a secret.

Unlike the secret lives of the Mormon wives, this was very public.

ABC and Disney would have known about it when they cast her as the Bachelorette.

And so for them to pull the whole season and act like, oh no,

It's a little bit strange to me as a viewer because I'm like, you guys knew about this.
