Yeah, so it's carried on Hulu. So if you have a Disney Plus subscription, which I do, that's probably how you're watching it. And it's called The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. They have four seasons released. The fourth season was just released. Because of the scandal that I'm going to explain, season five has halted filming. So it's been around. It's had a few seasons. It's here to quote unquote stay.
Yeah. But basically, like, it follows around a bunch of women and then their husbands and also their children. Why the children are pictured on the show, I don't know. I'll never understand. But whatever. I don't need to understand. And these people are varying degrees of not well regulated, I'll say. It's a kind way to put it. And that's what makes the reality show so great. And so I don't know why we're surprised when these people go off the rails or kick off Or what do they call it when they throw a fit on these shows? They, uh, crash out. That's the one.
There have been many an epic crash out care of this show and this cast, but specifically one person named Taylor Frankie Paul. Inexplicably, I am referring to one person and she is a woman and she has three names, which make her sound like she isn't a woman.
But anyways, and her son's name is ever true, which is, yeah, that's just, I just can't.
I mean, I'm sorry that no one can see the looks on our faces right now, but we're both rolling our eyes into oblivion.
Why not always true? I mean, at least that kind of grammatically, ever true. Okay, whatever. So these women kind of grew up in Salt Lake City. They were at some point in the Mormon church.
Many of them aren't anymore. Lots of them still are. Lots of them are super in the Mormon church. And they not only grew up in Salt Lake City, but Provo, Utah, which is like the heartbeat of Mormon culture. And so we're talking about a whole list of disorders here that are going to start to come to fruition on camera. when this show starts filming. So some of them drink, some of them don't. A lot of them started having kids at a very, very young age by today's standards. And they have a lot of kids, they have a lot of drama, and they're doing it all on television. And during lockdowns, the way this all started, the hashtag mom talk began. And all of these women, and they're pretty, and they're young, and they don't have a single solitary sense of holding back for the cameras.
Yeah, no filter, no filter.
No filter and they have no cringe. Like the stuff they do would cringe me out so badly that I could never do it. And yet they keep doing it ad nauseum. So they're doing dances during lockdowns and they're all, the strength of them, it's like a girl group. Like the strength of them is in the numbers. So they cross promote each other on their platforms and during lockdowns, they wind up amassing millions and millions of followers. Then they get their own TV show.
And there's a swingers scandal in there, like they're swapping partners.
