So I'm from Binghamton, and I've watched these guys come up through the minors, Jeff McNeil, Pete Alonzo, and I get the emotional attachment to these guys, all right?
I love them.
But at the same time, we had these guys in their prime, and what did we win?
Nothing.
Right?
Nothing.
So I get the thing where it's like, let's move on from these guys.

We have every right to lose our minds, okay?
I've come around.
I get that David Stearns wants to move on because we haven't won with these guys.
But now you have an opportunity to get one of the best hitters.
And if we get outbid, then what is the point of having the richest owner in baseball, right?
