Alonzo had his best season having Alonzo in front of him.

So if you have Luis Arias in front of Juan Soto and Lindor, you're going to get guys on base.

You're going to get less home runs.

But you're going to get the ball going and going and going, and who knows what can happen.

But I like the philosophy that they have going.

I'm not saying that it's going to go perfect, but it's less swing and miss, and that's what I care about.

But we need a starting pitcher in that rotation as a number one.

I don't want to go with the rookie being my ace.

I need a guy like Freddy Peralta, and that's when Brett Baby can come in and you can use him as an asset with all the assets the Mets have.
