I live completely alone in a house that I own, and I'm raising two children, a nine-year-old and a six-year-old, a nine-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son.

I'm 37 years old, almost 38, and just the amount that technology has changed in my lifetime is making it to where I can live as independently as I do, and I can do the job that I do because I am very heavily involved in content creation and content management, and that's a lot of what I do for my job.

And then just on a personal note, when I'm at home, I manage a lot of my life through technology.

I have my groceries delivered.

I pay my bills through apps or online or over the phone or things like that.

And the fact that my phone can talk.

Like when I was a teenager, phones didn't talk.

So the fact that my phone can talk and the fact that I can do everything on my phone that a sighted person can do on their phone is something that has only happened within my lifetime.

And

I could certainly live alone without those things, but it's exponentially easier with them, certainly.
